Classes for February 2018
Q. Do I have to be a member?
A. Everyone is welcome with any brand of machine.
Q. I’m a beginner at sewing, can I still attend classes?
A. We offer classes that vary in levels of difficulty. If you are unsure about which class is right for you, email email@example.com
Q. I don’t have a sewing machine; can I borrow one?
A. We rent machines for sewing classes at $10 per class, per day. Machine rentals are not available for embroidery classes.
Q. I haven’t paid; can I still come to class?
A. Classes must be paid for in advance to guarantee your place. If you enrol in a class and do not pay, you will be placed on a waitlist. If the class books out before you pay, you are not entitled to a place in the class.
Q. How many people are in each class?
A. All classes are limited to 8 students to ensure enough one on one time with the teacher.
Q. What do I need to bring to class?
A. We advise that you bring quality sewing thread, cutting mat, rotary cutter, small scissors, quilting ruler, and sewing accessories such as quick unpick, pins, paper scissors, etc. We have everything you need available to purchase if you forget anything!

- Sewing machine & foot control
- Power lead
- Quality sewing thread
- Cutting mat
- Rotary cutter
- Small scissors
- Quilting ruler
- Sewing accessories: quick unpick, pins, paper scissors, etc.
- Class attendees must have the original class pattern to participate
- A class requirements list will be emailed to you when class payments are received
- Class participants are asked to gather supplies prior to class to ensure all participants have the full benefit of class time.

Our classes are popular and book out quickly. If you cannot commit to the scheduled course dates, a transfer to the next available date is possible if more than 24 hours notice has been provided.
CUSTOMER CANCELLATION POLICY
5 days prior to class day or earlier – You have the option for a FULL refund, a class transfer or a store credit.
Within 5 days of the class day – You will receive a credit in the amount of the class to be used at a later date towards a Class Fee only.
The day of class or ‘no-show’ – class fees are forfeited.
If you sign up within 5 days of class, the above policies still apply.
There are no refunds on class fees for “Special Event” teachers/classes within 30 days of the class date, unless we can fill your spot with another person.
STORE CANCELLATION POLICY:
A minimum of 4 students is required for each class. If this requirement is not met 7 days prior to class, usually, the class will be cancelled and you will be refunded your class fee or transferred to the next available class.
Sewco reserves the right to cancel classes for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your full class fee and/or supplies.
